The Operator's Story

From code to companies

One through-line across every era: build the system, own the outcome. Corporate tech taught me to deliver. Flipping houses through a crash taught me to adapt. Everything since has been compounding the same lesson.

Corporate era: MetLife, Deloitte, Dell, Kenneth Cole
Before 2001 · Corporate Tech

Where I learned to deliver

I started in the corporate world, programming front ends, databases, and telephony systems for companies like MetLife, Deloitte, Dell, and Kenneth Cole. Enterprise platforms, real deadlines, cross-functional teams. Those years built my obsession with systems thinking and doing what it takes to deliver at a high level.

“Corporate taught me how to lead teams, manage big systems, and never miss a deadline. It shaped my get-it-done-and-own-it mindset.”

2001-2011 · Real Estate & Construction

From writing code to writing contracts

I left corporate to flip distressed properties and quickly scaled to multiple projects running at once. Then I started a construction company to bring every renovation in-house, controlling timelines, quality, and cost. When the housing crash hit, I adapted: closed the construction arm and focused on fewer, higher-margin flips with subcontractors.

This is where I learned to generate leads, manage risk, and build systems from scratch, in a market that changed under my feet.

“It taught me how to market, how to negotiate, and how to adapt when everything changes.”

The side hustle that became the platform

L4 Group began when fellow contractors asked how I was generating leads online. While still flipping houses, I started building websites and campaigns for others: a side hustle that turned into a full-time agency. I took on dentists, spas, contractors. Then I made the call that changed everything: specializing in energy and home services.

“Specialization wasn't limiting, it was scaling. By niching down, I could deliver real results and become a true partner to my clients.”

Healthspan over lifespan

In 2024, my wife Colleen and I co-founded bluSONIL: a longevity, wellness, and regenerative aesthetics company with national aspirations from day one. Colleen brings deep experience scaling brick-and-mortar for iconic brands; I bring marketing, brand, and business development. Our first location opened in Scottsdale in 2025.

We're building something the U.S. market hasn't seen: longevity science, aesthetic innovation, and best-in-class hospitality in one elevated experience.

“When your business is aligned with your personal values, it's more than work, it's legacy.”

The right partnership changes everything

In 2025 I merged L4 Group with Andrew Maderia's agency to form Navara Marketing. We'd worked together since 2017, sharing clients and collaborating on strategy, and by the time we merged, over 90% of our client portfolios overlapped. Combining brought clarity and scale.

Navara delivers high-impact marketing to oil, propane, gas, HVAC, and home-service businesses across the U.S., built on a team culture of trust, transparency, and long-term client success.

“When values align and trust is strong, collaboration doesn't just work: it accelerates growth.”

Still Building

The next chapter is being written now

Three ventures, compounding. The playbook that connects them is the same one from the beginning: out-care, out-execute, outlast.
